An old Chinese carved rose quartz statue of Guanyin sitting on the lotus base, 19th century. Guanyin is the most famous Goddess in Chinese Culture. Guanyin is setting on a double lotus seat, and holding a good wish pearl in her hand. Nice pink rose color on a whole piece of nature stone. Carved delicate details decorated on her robe and necklace. Quite dense and heavy. Peaceful facial expression. It's in very good condition with no repair or crack. Suffused with nature inclusion and fissure of the stone. Two minute chips on the edge (too small to be shown in the photo). Age wear. Size: about 6.25" tall (15.8 cm). |
