This is a magnificent statue of Tran Hung Dao, the all time greatest hero of Vietnam. THIS STATUE IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE TRAN HUN DAO MONUMENT ON THE TRAN HUNG DAO STREET IN HO CHI MINH CITY. Tran Hung Dao is the imperial who won the war over the Mongol invasion in the 14th. C. which is the Tran Dynasty. Time period : This Statue is expected to be the 19th.-20th. work of Arts. Material : Pewter ( Mixture of Silver and Tin ) Condition : Overall is intact. However, since this statue was original painted with lacquer and people try to clean the lacquer , so some parts of the statue is shown in WHITE which is the color of the pewter. SIZE : H: 30.0 Cm.
