A Chinese Gold Metallic Embroidered Robe, 17th-18th C
This is a heavy damaged Gold Metallic Embroidered Robe made for the Chinese high ranged ladies in the court during the 17th.-18th. C.

The embroidery of the pheonix is an evidence to show that this robe was used by the chinese Court ladies. Please also see the last photo of the Pheonix on the B&W Bowl of the Ming dynasty, Chia Ching period, which is almost the same motif as the pheonix on this robe. So, This robe might be as old as the Ming 16th. C.

As this is a heavy damage robe, so the idea to collect this robe is for the serious collector who collect Chinese Court-Robe any Museum to collect and display as for references purpose.

The size is 124.0 X 74.0 Cm.

The condition : please refer to photo

Additional photo or sample of the thread is available upon request. Please also noted that the Gold Metallic Thread is quite heavy and under the Gold plated thread is the Copper Thread ! ( We believe that the original thread is copper and plated with gold )
