This is a very nice painting of 4 Ladies, a Child and a Cat in Vivid Orange Red lacquer . The dress is decorated by egg shell,Gold and Silver leaf. Title of Painting : Summer Media : Lacquer on Wood. Size : 240.0 X 120.0 Cm.in one single panel Singed : Do Xuan Doan and dated 1998 at the left lower conner. Do Xuan Doan ( Hanoi, Vietnam , 1937 ) He graduated from Fine Arts University Hanoi in 1961. The painting style of Do Xuan Doan is followed the style of his master, Nguyen Gai Tri, the all time greatest lacquer paintng artist of Vietnam. The unique style of the color using in his painting is Blazing Orange Red and Banana Green . His work is exibited in all over Vietnam and oversea, such as , Singapore and Hong Kong, Thailand , U.S.A and Europe country. Recently, his works were chosen by one the of the 5 stars Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Park Hyatt Saigon, to be displayed in all Ballrooms in the Hotel. |
