Sukhothai or Sangkhalok Ware is the name given to ceramic wares that were produced by a number of kilns in the Sukhothai Province during the Sukhothai and Ayutthaya periods (from early 14th to 16th centuries). They were also known as Sawankhalok Wares. This bowl is part of the recently found by excavated, not from a shipwreck. So, the glaze is in 100% Grade A condition. Design : With everted, flattened rim.Deep green crackled glaze. Outside, plain raised band on rim, vertical gouge lines on body. Inside,foliations on outer rim carved in low relief. Please see more details on enlargement photos. Size : 25.0 Cm. X 9.0 Cm. Body Condition : 2 tiny hairlines, so small that if not looke carefully,will not know because it is very similar to the crakle line on the bady.The rest is in perfect condition.
