Late Period, c. 500 BC
Fantastically rendered bronze Harpocrates, depicted as naked youth in seated position; Left arm by side, right arm crooked at the elbow with forefinger of hand atypically held to mouth; Wears sidelock of youth with frontal uraeus on head; Amuletic pendant around neck.
Features are clearly delineated; A fantastic glossy variegated blue, amber and green patina covers whole.
