SOLD 

1st-2nd Century A.D Large redware jug, body of weak elliptical form- conical in lower section, wide dome-like shoulders with palm wreath motif encircling periphery, standing on tall hollowed out foot; length of the tapered neck marked by three tooled constrictions, concave sided either side of constriction, deep bowl-like mouth. Wide lug handle ribbed in section connects just beneath mouth with shoulder. A good sized solid object.
