Ming Pony A.D 1368-1643 Terracotta Pony with white slip and applied pigments; stands foursquare upon integral rectangular plinth; moulded trappings which extend around the rump and neck attached to saddle with decorative bow; saddle blanket beneath. Stylised mane and forelock swept back over the ears; features crisply delineated convey animated expression. In excellent condition, with a drill hole through the horse's bit and beneath the saddle. Measures 27cm (H) x 26cm (W).

Magna Graecian Xenon Ware 4th Century BC Southern Italian twin-handled miniature kantharos, attributed to the Xenon Painter; black gloss over whole with applied red wash decoration, on one side consisting of two concentric circles with dots at their centre with cross inbetween and on the other with a wavy line flanked by dots, both encased within a red border. Measures 6cm (H). In excellent condition, with foot cracked and repaired.
