This is a very rare and probably unique document by the English-born American historian Henry Barton Dawson (1821 - 1889). This is an autograph manuscript, unsigned of 16pp, 9 3/4x12 1/4 inches. I addition there is other material related to Dawson. The hand written manuscript consists of most of Chapter one titled "Lexington and Concord" in the upper margin from his comprehensive history, Battles of the United States.
