Chinese 20th century carved jade phoenix carrying a lotus flower in its mouth. 9 1/2"H with the stand. Excellent condition. Fixed to rosewood base. Beautify mottled light green to clear jade. This high quality jade was part of the Gertrude Mellon (Of the Pittsburgh Mellon's) estate.
