| This print by Shotei is in its original frame with a hand drawn Art Deco design. This is clearly the original frame done around 1936 when this woodblock appeared in the publishers (Watanabe Shozaburo) catalogue. The famers label is still affixed to the back of the frame. The print is 6 1/2 by 14 7/8 ("tanzaku"). The frame is 15 1/2 x 21 & 1/2 inches in size. This is a excellent original print by this well know artist. As this is the original frame I would prefer to leave this woodblock framed as it has been all these years. | ||
