| Unlike most Junyao items this one shows very clear evidence of having been dug. This lends it the quality of being totally unique and profoundly interesting. It is particularly deep with an exceptional multi-hued purple splash. The colors of the body cover a wide range, truly exquisite. Please ask for more pictures if desired. It dates to the Yuan dynasty (1279 to 1368 AD). As you can see the glaze is crackled. There are no chips, cracks or other damage other than the glaze crazing.
