| The detail on the metal work on lamp is amazing as the pictures show. Its made of at least three different metals, bronze, copper and a mixture of both. Even the copper bands are bent to give strength and design. A dragon is on one side of the body and a Phoenix on the other, both are important Chinese symbols. In my research I have not been able to find anything similar to this lamp. My best guess at a date would be Qing Dynasty. It is in very good condition, no chips or cracks other then the obvious glaze cracking. Size: 4.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide | ||
