Extremely fine and well carved 17th C. Chinese soapstone carving of a female nude with a cat by her side. She rest her arm by a high pillow and holding a dildo. The cloth where she lies on is well carved in flora patterns. She has a very sweet/happy expression on the face and the cat is one of the best carved animal I have seen. What an erotic item. Very nicely carved 19th C. Chinese nephrite jade group of a mother goat with her baby on the back. The color of the jade is celadon with some russet inclusions. The carving is exquisitely done with lucky clouds between the animals. A wonderful and compact jade carving with classic Song style. Size: 3 1/2 inches long and close to 2 1/2 inches tall.
