Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279)
Starting from a small foot in circumference, this superb and rare bowl flares out to form a conical shape. This thinly potted bowl shows the elegance achieved by the Song potters.

Han Dynasty (206 BC - 221 AD)
Of the usual hu-shape form with a globular body and tapered neck, flanked with a taotie mask ring-handle on either side. The fitted cover is decorated with three phoenix, which would serve as feet when the cover is removed and placed on the ground.

Warring States Period (475 - 221 BC)
A simple but fine ring pendant of varying shades of black and white nephrite, simply carved with finely incised scrolls between two lines.

A fine dragon pendant modeled after examples of the Warring States period of pale greenish-white jade, with light brown inclusions. Together with a later stand and fitted box.

Qing dynasty (19th century)
Each figure similarly modeled as stylized tortoise's, decorated in the usual palette of sky blue, red, yellow and green. The carapace is removable revealing a hallow body, and the tail is shaped so that the lamp can be held between the thumb and the index of the hand.

The main body is of cylindrical form slightly flared and ribbed body to imitate a section of bamboo, and rests on three coiled feet.

Of consistent greenish-white nephrite, the shaft is smooth and tapered, with the head carved with prunus and foliage. Together with a museum-style black stand.

Of very pale greenish-white nephrite, the pendant is formed by a central Bi disk with two confronting phoenix, and above the disk is a man seated on a horse with two further phoenix on either side of him. Together with a fitted box.

Of various shades of green nephrite with russet veins, the ring is carved in the manner of those found during the Zhou and Han dynasties with interlocking scrolls, and polished surface.
