A pair of semi-circular mahogany veneered commodes with three drawers. They are surmounted by a three levels semicircular top. Gilt bronze and Brass mounts. These pieces of furniture in mahogany are commonly referred to "Russian Jacob", in reference to the French cabinetmaker.
Very good condition.
Empire Period, Circa: 1810.

A pair of Italian mahogany veneered pedestals. The circular top includes a marble plate, and rests on a tripod stand in mahogany capped with
three carved and gilt wood heads of lions. The legs are terminated by three carved and gilt wood lions paws standing on a triangular basis.
