| A gilt wood console probably originally conceived as a cabinet stand, composed of a rectangular breche d'Alep marble top inset in a gadrooned and fluted border. It stands on four square tapering legs headed by Atalanta figures, each one being different from the other on the gesture, the face and the burden of flowers or fruit they carry on their shoulders. The four feet are joined by an x-shaped stretcher centered by a pagoda-shaped finial. Very good condition. Louis XIV Period, Circa: 1700. Dim: W: 28,3 in - D: 17,3in - H: 34,6in. / Console conçue comme un piètement de cabinet, composée d’un plateau de marbre brêche d’Alep inscrit dans une ceinture godronnée, reposant sur quatre pieds sculptés en atlantes, chacun étant différent de l'autre dans la position, le visage, et selon qu'il porte sur ses épaules ou sur sa tête des fleurs ou des fruits.
