This is a fine, ancient Peruvian pottery bottle. Dating to the Lambayeque culture of ancient Peru, circa 550 - 700 A.D.This piece is profusely decorated on both obverse and reverse with raised registers depicting warrior priests battling in the supernatural realm. A fantastic piece.
Some general abrasion to the piece, due to it's great age, with one small hole, as seen, but otherwise perfect.
Measures 16.5 cm tall.
