This is a beautiful representation in terracotta depicting the head of a man. The finely rendered face with large eyes and full lips is characteristic of an Etruscan man dating to 600 BCE.

Measures 10" tall.

Condition: Choice and intact with only small chipping to the base, as expected. A wonderful piece.

This is a beautiful representation in terracotta depicting the head of a woman. The finely rendered face with large eyes and full lips is characteristic of an Etruscan man dating to 600 BCE. Her full hair is a testament to the skilled artisan who created this piece more than 2500 years ago.

Measures 10" tall.

Condition: Choice and intact with only small chipping to the base, as expected. A wonderful piece. No restorations whatsoever.

This stone fragment comes from a large collection amassed in the early 1960's by an American husband and wife who went on many archaeological digs with Professor Bothmer of the Brooklyn Museum.

This ancient marble fragment was found at the ancient site of Carthage.

This piece measures 4" in length.

The original collector indicated the find spot in pencil as "CARTHAGE", seen here.

This pair of stone fragments come from a large collection amassed in the early 1960's by an American husband and wife who went on many archaeological digs with Professor Bothmer of the Brooklyn Museum.

This set of ancient marble building fragments was found at the ancient site of Cyrene. Cyrene was founded in c.630 BCE as a colony of the Greek island town Thera.

These pieces measure 3.3” and 2.5" in length respectively. Both are inscribed in pencil with the place name “Cyrene”.
