This is a fine piece. It's an ancient Egyptian faience amulet dating to the Late Period in Egyptian history, circa 664 - 332 BC. The finest blue faience was accomplished by the maker of this piece. The depiction is that of a striding Anubis, the God of Embalming. Measures 15 mm tall. Condition: pristine!!! Provenance provided to purchaser. |
