This charming 3.5 inch diameter and .5 inch high ceramic small tray/dish has an Art Deco - Retro style Scandinavian blue design of seagulls and 2 sailboats surrounded by a border of waves and the words: SOLSTRAND FJORD HOTEL, and a small lifesaver bearing the word, STAVANGERFLINT. Except for very light crazing from its over half a century of age, and a light blank line (occurred in the application of the design itself) that reaches from the sailboats to the lifesaver (see photo), its condition is excellent. Built in 1896 by Christian Michelsen, Norway’s first prime minister, the lovely and historic 4 star Solstrand Fjord Hotel in Bergen, Norway still operates today. Feel free to combine shipping.
