A Beautiful Antique Tabriz Rug, late 19th century
From our World Handicrafts (ex-Asia) Collection, a beautiful antique Tabriz rug, late 19th century, wool on wool construction, featuring a classic central medallion design against a rust colored ground, bordered by fields of mixed geometric, floral, and arabesque patterns, tastefully executed in a rich but subtle palette of rust, dark blue, light blue, olive green, peach, and cream colored hues.

Size and Condition: 6 feet, 3 inches x 4 feet, 2 inches. Overall condition is very good with only mild wear to pile. There are two stains in the central field, visible upon close inspection but not a meaningful detraction in any way to the overall elegance and beauty of the rug.
