Unusual Novick handwrought bowl divider, folding, composed of four wings with angled curving ends on central hinge with central chess piece finial, Nice hammering and heavy. An interesting object. Falick Novick was one of the top-tier Chicago silversmiths, and produced much high-quality work for the Kalo shop. Wing: 4-7/8" L and 1-1/2" H; Overall: 9-3/8" W and 2-3/4" H.
Novick oval bowl, handwrought, high, on wide oval foot, with four sets of alternating small and large lobes, applied wire rim, applied AOL mono on outside. Top edge rises in the corners, and is lower in the middle and at the ends, which point outward like the spout of a ladle. Nice hammering. Falick Novick was one of the top-tier Chicago silversmiths, and produced much high-quality work for the Kalo shop. 8-7/16" L and 5-1/2" W and 4-1/2" H.
Leinonen cream jug, small, pitcher-form, on low ring foot with high spout and looping heavy wire handle. Karl F. Leinonen was a Finnish-born silversmith who ran Boston's noted Handicraft Shop for several decades. 4-1/8" W and 3" H.
Lebolt salts and salt spoons, early, handwrought, set of five (5), open, round tapering form, with matching spoons. Lebolt & Co. was one of the top Chicago Arts & Crafts silversmiths, along with the Kalo Shop. Salts: 5/8" H and 1-1/2" W. Spoons: 2-1/4" L and 5/8" W. It is unusual to find a set that includes all the spoons, and this particular salt form is also uncommon.
Lebolt child's porringer and plate, handwrought. Bowl form with pierced and hammered tab handle that spreads out at end, and matching round plate with wide bottom tapering sharply upward, with depression in top to accommodate bowl. Each is engraved "FEBRUARY 12 - 1924" on bottom in block letters and WILLIAM MONTROSE GRAHAM on side. Hammered surfaces.
