Wall box with mottled pink and white glaze and removable lid. Mottled darker pink glaze inside. We have no idea who made this fine little box, and purchased it along with several Rookwood boxes. It's signed on the bottom -- either GP Wall, or CP Wall, or GR Wall. It has two semi-circular rests on the underside of the lid. Fine condition, nicely made, and a sweet little object. 3-7/16" L and 2-15/16" W and 1-3/4" H.
Gustavsberg small sgraffito vase made by Josef Ekberg in 1917 with powder-blue sponge glaze. Ekberg (1877-1945) began working for Gustavsberg in 1897. Fortunately, he signed and dated his excellent work. This was an impulse buy for us -- we saw it and admired the form, colors, proportions, and details. It's a lovely object that we're sad to part with but we're focusing on metalwork and jewelry these days. 3-3/4" W and 3-7/16" H
