Dirk Van Erp low bowl, copper, small, with brass ring foot. Lovely shape and proportions. Hammered surfaces. May have been cleaned long ago, but patina is coming back. Some verdigris and discoloration inside. Still, a favorite piece of ours. 6-3/8" W and 1-1/2" H.
Copper jardiniere, with bulbous tapered body that necks in near the top then flares out again. Rough handmade surface. Slightly concave bottom on small self-foot. Nice patina with some verdigris. We purchased this because it was almost the same form as a valuable Falick Novick copper jardinière of ours from the Ada Huncke collection. A very rustic and strong piece with a few dents and scrapes. Unmarked.
Potter Studio copper box, handwrought, rectangular, with hinged domed lid that centers a rectangular bezel-set worked pewter detail, and a chased line around the edge. Top and bottom overhang the body slightly. Wood interior. Extremely heavy. A very nice and solid object, but recently cleaned, and with one very slightly bent and easily repaired corner of the lid.
