| Eicher porringer, handwrought, round, slightly flared form on flat bottom with applied wire rim. Applied tab handle with geometric saw pierced design. Hammered surfaces. Applied letter B on side, opposite handle. 1-1/2" H and 5-1/2" W, rim to handle. Heinrich A. Eicher was a former Kalo silversmith who set up a shop with his wife Anna in Park Ridge, IL. He produced Kalo-quality objects, and unfortunately met a tragic end. Most Eicher objects have the familiar circular Eicher mark; this one has the older and more unusual spelled-out name. | ||
