Clemens Friedell Arts & Crafts Large Silver Tray

Friedell tray, large, round, handwrought, with wide raised edge and elaborate repoussé CPJ mono on edge. Hammered surface. Clemens Friedell worked on Gorham's prestigious Martelé line, and moved to California where he catered to the carriage trade. His work is highly regarded, with excellent hammering and incredible ornate chased and repoussé monograms like the one here. 14" W and 5/8" H.
