| TC Shop porringer and matching underplate. Deep porringer with flaring sides, tab handle with curving end that widens at the back on both sides. Applied wire to rim and applied circular ELS mono on both pieces. Generally a set like this doesn't stay together. As individual pieces these are fine, but as a set they have a lot of presence and panache. Hammered surfaces on the porringer. The TC Shop was one of the legendary Chicago Arts & Crafts silversmiths, and produced objects on a par with the Kalo Shop. It was founded by former Kalo silversmith Emery Todd and (Ms.) Clemencia Cosio in 1910. Porringer: 7-3/16" W across handle and 5-1/4" W across bowl and 1-15/16" H. Plate: 7-3/8" round.
