| Fantastic pair of large and impressive book-piece silver candelabras by Knut L. Gustafson's Chicago Silver Company. A candelabra by Gustafson of the exact same height and width, and with a very similar top portion is shown full page in Sharon S. Darling's landmark book Chicago Metalsmiths, (p. 90). Like that Gustafson piece, this pair is tall and broad, with three cups. The top portion is removable if the owner needs simple tall, single light candlesticks on occasion. The set has been professionally cleaned and polished by a master silversmith and is in wonderful condition. Solid silver, not weighted. A truly show-stopping and exceedingly hard-to-find set. 15-1/2" H and 13-1/2" W. | ||
