| Austrian or Vienna bronze parakeet / budgerigar, large, cold painted, long tail. Original paint; subtly and beautifully detailed. Minor paint loss but otherwise in very good condition. Unmarked. 7-1/4" L and 1-5/8" W and 2-5/8" H Austrian or Vienna bronzes are heavy, beautifully hand-crafted decorative objects made in Vienna beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Produced using lost-wax casting, they were individually detailed and "cold-painted" by master craftsmen. | ||
