| Austrian or Vienna bronze bird, cold painted. Dark with red spot under beak. Possible repair to right leg but it’s seamless. Otherwise in very good condition. Marked “GESCHUTZT.” 4-3/4" L and 1-3/4" W and 2-1/2" H Austrian or Vienna bronzes are heavy, beautifully hand-crafted decorative objects made in Vienna beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Produced using lost-wax casting, they were individually detailed and "cold-painted" by master craftsmen. | ||
