| Charming Austrian bronze birds. Mother bird with two baby birds, sitting on a branch. A heartwarming tableau. Finely detailed and beautifully painted (some very minor paint loss). Marked “Austria.” 10”L and 6”H and 4”W. Austrian or Vienna bronzes are heavy, beautifully crafted decorative objects created in Vienna beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Made using lost wax casting, they were individually detailed and “cold painted” by hand by master craftsmen. | ||
