| Austrian bronze rooster. Small and somewhat worn but shows beautiful patina of age. Marked “Austria.” 1-3/8”L and 1”W and 7/8”H. Austrian or Vienna bronzes are heavy, beautifully crafted decorative objects created in Vienna beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Made using lost wax casting, they were individually detailed and “cold painted” by hand by master craftsmen. | ||
