| Absolutely beautiful parakeet/budgerigar with a long tail, by Franz Bergmann. Small but exquisitely painted. Very subtle detailing is just lovely. Shows Bergmann’s mark and “Austria.” 4-1/2”L and 1”W and 2”H. Austrian or Vienna bronzes are heavy, beautifully crafted decorative objects created in Vienna beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Made using lost wax casting, they were individually detailed and “cold painted” by hand by master craftsmen. | ||
