| Austrian bronze baby bird. Lovely detailing and the subtlest shading and blending of colors. We cannot decipher the unusual marks on this bird but it is painted in the style of Bergmann. 2-1/2”L and 1-3/4”H and 1-3/4”W Austrian or Vienna bronzes are heavy, beautifully crafted decorative objects created in Vienna beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Made using lost wax casting, they were individually detailed and “cold painted” by hand by master craftsmen. | ||
