Designer Notes:

This design was inspired by the French bombé style,
yet our piece made with mahogany is totally contemporary.
In harmony with the oval we gave the piece
rounded legs to maintain its overall curvature.

Construction Notes:

The construction of this piece is a craftsman's challenge.
The oval is constructed by joining three inch wide
tongue and grooved slabs which once constructed
must be perfectly sanded into one continuous surface
with undetectable joints to the eye or the touch.
The piece has a rectangular internal structure to assure
its strength and to provide support to its drawer.
