Designer's Note:

As seekers we have studied spiritual traditions.
One of my favorites is the Christian symbol for "paradise lost",
the tree of Good and Evil.
In our rendition a three-dimensional,
luscious and larger than life apple
emphasizes life's temptations and yet redeems Adam,
the symbolic culprit of Man's earthly suffering.
The blue of the trunk and branches reflects the color
of the bird of paradise.
The golden life size serpent reminds us
not all that glitters is gold.
Yet since the tempting apple of life is yet not bitten whoever
possesses this tree can claim to still be in paradise.
