Designer Notes:

We were commissioned to develop a display console for the casual restaurant
of a top hotel and our first trace was a simple column.
The piece was originally going to be in the hotel’s veranda
so nature was an important part of the theme.
We took the vines and leaves of the proposed flowery environment
and incorporated them to the column.
The console grew out of the column and, in retrospect its roots are obvious .
The table is streamlined and modern but also,
thanks to its carving, removed from any specific style.
