This splendid vase is a Sakaida Kakiemon XIII production (1906-1982) from the Kakiemon family of ceramic makers since the 17th century. The first Kakiemon developed his own style in the middle of the 17th century, inspired by the porcelains of the Chinese Ming dynasty.
