This fantastic chawan (tea bowl) was made by a relatively young potter named Shimizu Shiro. A Jovian like storm formed by the iron and copper rich glaze seem to keep the vessel in constant movement, though drops frozen in the plutonic fires of the kiln seem to play a Zen charade: running and not running at the same time.
