About Us
Dragon's Pearl was started in 1998 by Luciana Maina and Henrik H. Sørensen as a joint venture. Both have extensive experience in Asian arts and cultures including both scholarly as well as commercial aspects. They have lived and traveled extensively in all regions of South, Central and East Asia. Dragon's Pearl has access to an extensive network of dealers, collectors and scholars in the field of Asian art worldwide which enables us to accommodate special requests. In addition to dealing in objects of Asian art, Dragon's Pearl also accepts to undertake commissions/projects concerning sought-after pieces of art, as well as serving in the capacity of appraising and evaluating objects for private collectors and museums. In this capacity Dragon's Pearl provides written documentation according to each individual case (at a cost). We also assist in forming new collections including procuring pieces for high-class interior decoration. Full discretion is of course guaranteed.

About our Art Collection
The items shown here are only a small part of our extensive collection of Asian art, and are meant to provide prospective clients with an idea of our range of pieces. We are especially strong in Tibetan art - bronzes, thangkas, sutra-boards, wooden images and carpets - including both Buddhism and Bön; Chinese scholar objects, fan paintings (mainly Qing pieces), Ming and Qing textiles; and Japanese art, classical as well as modern such as paintings, prints, metalwork, amour, lacquer, ceramics and high quality rattan ware.
