An attractive four-case, squarish inro of lacquer decorated with Tama of different sizes and rendered in brownish nashiji with hiramaki-e, kinpun, ginpun and hirame. Mounted with an orange cord from which hangs a boxwood netsuke in the form of two mushrooms and a surihagashi ojime. Unsigned. Edo, 18–19th cent. H 6.7 cm, W 7.4 cm. CONDITION: Over-all very good, one tiny chip and minor wear.
