JIZAI OKIMONO: Articulated Iron Lobster. 
The body naturalistically rendered and fully articulated with six-piece sectional tail, the antennae, legs, fins and eyes constructed of movable parts. Engraved signature Myochin. Long: 38,5 cm. (15,2 inches). (antennae included) Edo Period 19th Century. Very good condition with just some ware due to age and handling.

An expressive and well-modeled, bronze okimono depicting a bear sitting on its haunches. It has a nice brown patina all-over. Signed on the back: Tamesetsu. The piece is in a modernistic, expressionist style characteristic of bronze figures made during the first decades of the 20th cent. Taisho Period. H 20.5 cm. Condition: Excellent.

A fine and unusual Okimono of Mount Fuji with eagles and eggplants. The Fuji is made from a large piece of natural stag-antler; on the side of the Fuji are 2 well carved eagles also made from antler; one of the eagles is standing on three eggplants of different sizes made of dark hardwood. The okimono has a fitted base made of dark-redish hardwood. Signed in double red circle lacquer seal: SOSHITSU. Tomobako-box. H 12 cm x 14 x 8,5 cm. including base. Meiji period. Very good condition.

A very charming and cute (kawai) figurine of a sleeping cat of the popular Kutani model. The cat has a large red bow around its neck, and the fur has been partly indicated in gold. The interesting feature of this piece is its small size, which is seldom seen. Red lacquered small box. Late Meiji to early Taisho. L. 6.5 cm. Condition: Perfect.

A very charming burlwood figure of a dog turning its head. Made from a natural piece of gnarled, burlwood with only minor modifications. The ears attached separately. Japan, Meiji (1868–1912). H 9.5 cm, L 8.5 cm. Condition: very good patina due to age and handling.
