| MASAO Ido (b. 1945), a well established contemporary Japanese artist, known for his Kyoto scenes, landscapes, cats. Here Masao is depicting the small but beautiful “Karesansui” garden (dry or rock ) from Shoden-ji, a quiet and charming old temple in the northern part of Kyoto. The name of the temple is given on the lower left corner . Artist’s seal and signature with pencil. 77/150. Oban size: H. 26 x W. 38 cm (H. 45 x W. 57 cm with frame). Beautifully framed under glass.
