| Rare Daoist images depicting four of the Eight Immortals (baxian) made of padded, colored silk. Mounted on felt. Textile figures of this kind are relatively rare, especially when in good condition. Framed in old gilt frame under glass. Late Qing Dynasty, probably Guangxu. H. 56 cm, W. 38 cm (picture frame). Condition: Excellent. The silk still with fresh colors. | |||||||||||||
