| A very unusual but highly attractive bottle-shaped vase made of Oribe ware with a deep, bluish-green, partially covering glaze. It has a heavy, cylindrical body with deeply carved, parallel groove and a thin neck with a narrow mouth. Small artist’s seal impressed on bottom rim (we have been unable to decipher it, see last 2 photos) . A superbly designed piece. Showa, ca. 1950. H 22.5 cm. Condition: Perfect. | |||||||||||||||
