A really outstanding rare pair of KUTANI SHISHI. This duo has exceptional applied moriage enamels and gilt highlights on a dark persimmon ground. The painted details are the best I have seen on Kutani Shishi, and what a find to have a matched pair. The Shishi are signed on base of black brocaded temari balls with an impressed Kutani mark. Dimensions: Height: 7 3/4" Length: 7" Condition: Excellent,no damage, particularly nice enamels

Underglaze blue and white Sometsuke vase, most likely Hirado or Arita Thickly potted, the 10" (25.5cm) vase is encircled by two white scaled dragons in high relief on a floral background. The neck is highlighted by four car touches, two scenic, two Peony floral. Foliate rimmed,there are leaves and florals inside the vase neck. The glaze has a soft celadon cast, with pooled celadon glaze on base. Condition: Excellent. Slight wear typical of the period, no chips or cracks. Dimensions: 10"(25.5cm)

A charming pair of SATSUMA Perfume boudoir lamps in a diminutive size. The lamps are a matched pair, and the cup in Buddhas lap holds perfume, the scent is carried by the heat of the light bulb. Fine intricate Satsuma moriage detail. One lamp has been rewired. Lamps are all original, and are set on carved wooden bases. A fine collectors pair of lamps, functional and lovely as well. I do not know the age or origin of this plate, but I would say by appearances it is Japanese. Please review signature. What ever it is it is a beautiful plate. A most interesting and beautifully crafted Qing Dynasty early 19th century FAMILLE ROSE PALETTE ribbed melon jar with handled lid The figural covered jar has beautiful details of unusual butterflies flitting about fruiting melons and vines. Lid has a raised vine stem as handle. Totally charming, Exceptional color and detail. Dimensions: 7" Height 5 3/4" Width Condition: Very good, some minor rubbing of gilt. No chips or hairlines.

Here is a really fine and large Chinese Blanc de Chine Guanyin (Kwan Yin) Figure mounted in the early 1920's as a lamp. The Guanyin Goddess is mounted on a reticulated brass base, with brass fittings. There is no damage to the porcelain statue as the post is mounted behind the porcelain figuriene. The lamp is as originally wired. I use it regularly in my home. The beige Pongee silk shade and brass Chinese finial is included. Full bodied copper weathervane trotting horse, original gold leaf, pre 1880, well documented in American Folk Art books. I have owned this weathervane for twenty five years. Wonderful original gold leaf, Folk art as good as can be found. Touches of verdigris and soft mellow patina. Definitely a stallion. Stand included.Displays magnificently. Condition: excellent, as shown, normal wear of a period item. May have very old repair to right hind leg between fetlock and hock. Dimensions 31"(79cm) length
