A fine example of English Art Nouveau in a rich Rockingham type glazed MAJOLICA PITCHER on yelloware (Barbotine raised details). Exceptionally nice color palette and a delightful frog amongst the lily pads.

A beautiful English Victorian statement that is in exceptional condition and displays beautifully. The pitcher is marked with an impressed 5 and signed.

MINTON JARDINIERE OF EXCEPTIONAL CALIBER, SIGNED AND NUMBERED. This incredible large 10" high by 15" wide work of art is a rare and unique find, a treasure for the serious collector of Minton or Majolica. The jardiniere was made in 1871, and bears an impressed Minton mark, and the number 532. This Minton masterpiece is documented in numerous books on English porcelains, Majolica and Minton. Among the wonderful details are intertwined snake handles, and exceptional classical elements, exceptional color and minute detail so typical of Minton Majolica. Please enjoy the photos.

Condition: Excellent for period. There is a horizontal hairline mid body about 6" in length.h is extremely common in Majolica of this age. This can be easily and invisibly restored by a competent restorer. The jardiniere does not appear to have any other damage, and if there are any prior repairs, have been exceptionally well done.

Large, well defined and elegant, unique green with floral transfers on these beauties. The dogs are signed Crofts, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, and are marked with Crown and "England, the pair date to the early 1900's and are guaranteed to delight the most descerning collector of fine Staffordshire.
