This is a most interesting and unique door knocker. The bold transitional ART NOUVEAU motif is of a nude woman and curving lions, all enhanced by classical Art Deco elements. This is a transitional piece dating to just after the turn of the century. The door knocker is fine bronze, very heavy and well cast. The details are wonderful.
