An exceptionally decorative pair of mid 19th century, Chinese export,
Famille Rose, hexagonal vases as table lamps.
The vase necks with applied and gilded lions of Fo.
The vases decorated with finely painted pavilion subjects
in a broad enamel palette of turquoise, vermillion, pale lime,
burnt orange, sky blue & yellow.
The lamps standing on gilded bronze “Chinese tables”.
The lamp caps of hexagonal stepped and gilded bronze.
The exclusively designed “double pagoda” lampshades in turquoise silk.
The eight corners of each lampshade with suspended black silk tassels.
Circa 1860 Overall height (including shades) 16.5"/42cm

lamps designed for mini 25W globes.)

This is a most unique lamp, a true gem in the rough. This is a rare and fine an old brass AMERICAN WHALE OIL LAMP that dates to 18th century. There are a three attached wick trimming items, attached by square link chains... scissors, and such for wick trimming.
The lamp comes with an old paper shade, as shown. The lamp was converted to electricity, and takes two bulbs. The lamp is in working order and will be an incredible treasure with a bit of reworking of the electrical components.
Dimensions: 20"(51cm) height
Condition: Excellent, through wiring is hand done and rough. A link needs to be opened to attach one chain.

This is a magnificent Japanese cloisonne GINBARI ENAMEL LAMP. The enamels and foil work are breathtaking, and the choice of color for the background (emerald green) and the detail to the florals is unmatched.
I have taken the lamp apart today, and there is a very old red paper sticker under the base. I do not see a mark, or signature, though this is surely from a studio of the caliber of Ando. Lamp dates to late 19, or early 20th century Japan.

An truly stunning original BRONZE WALL SCONCE with incredibly fine sculptural detail of a WINGED NUDE SEA GODDESS. The lamp or sconce is French, late 19th century. The sconce is signed on the mid right side body of the figure by maker in a diamond. Lamp is wired, and has original frosted glass shade. I do not know if it works as wiring is European, but rewiring will be easy. The sconce has been cleaned since the first two photos.
